Vanessa Fewings (aka V.M.K. Fewings) is the award-winning author of The Stone Masters Vampire Series. Her first erotic novel, Enthrall, will be released later this summer. Prior to publishing, Vanessa worked as a registered nurse and midwife. She holds a Masters Degree in Psychology. She has travelled extensively throughout the world and has lived in Germany, Hong Kong, and Cyprus. Born and raised in England, Vanessa now proudly calls herself an American and resides in California with her husband.

Vanessa has been invited as a special guest to attend the Anne Rice Vampire Lestat Fan Club's Annual Ball and Undead Con in New Orleans this Halloween. Alongside some of the most distinguished authors, including Anne Rice herself, Vanessa will be a guest on writer panels and at the author meet and greet where fans will get the chance to chat with her personally about her new vampire novel Bohemian.

We interviewed Vanessa and she answered to our questions :))

Pavlina, thank you for inviting me over here to Read More Sleep Less! I’m delighted to be here.

1~ What inspired you to write Enthrall?

I was actually writing another novel at the time the idea for Enthrall came to me. I literally stopped writing the novel I was penning and threw myself into the world of Mia, Richard and Cameron and was literally swept away by their story. Once Richard’s character told me a little about himself, the entire novel unfolded before my eyes.

2~ Which is your favorite of the books you have written and why?

Each novel I’ve written has a special place in my heart. Just as each of my characters are special. I’m thrilled with the way Enthrall evolved and as it’s my latest novel I’m incredibly excited about it.

3~ Can you tell us about your current projects?

I’d be delighted. I'm currently promoting Enthrall. I have a blog tour beginning August 15^th-29^th, hosted by Stories and Swag Tours. We will be hanging out on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1358230564316078/ on August 22^nd, so come visit us as we talk about Enthrall.

I’ve just completed writing Bohemian which is the fourth novel in The Stone Masters Vampire Series, and it will be sent off for editing soon. Piper Day is a co-written romantic comedy novel which I look forward to sharing more info on soon. As you can see, I take great pleasure in writing in other genres.

4- Did you always see yourself as a writer??

Actually no, I worked as a registered nurse for many years. About 10 years ago I suddenly felt compelled to write a novel out of nowhere and that book is now known as A Vampire’s Reckoning. It’s now classed as the second novel in The Stone Masters Vampire Series.

Although I wrote stories as a child and later a teenager, I never considered that I would become a published author. I feel incredibly lucky to have this privilege.

This is a passionate,hot,dark,mysterius book,that is going to blow your mind!! I really like it!! This is Mia's story... She is 21 years old and she is desperate to find a job…till the moment that she grasps the opportunity to work to Enthrall... Enthrall is not an ordinary place, but it’s the L.A.’s premier fetish club for the wealthy community. And she is going to be the secretary to the club’s assistant director Richard Booth... He is also the club's senior dominant..

She intrigued by her boss and she wants more from him…She imagine herself in the dungeon…and Richard to make things to her.. Richard was a difficult man. After every step he did to come close to her, the next moment he was leaving far away..

But his basic target was to

Subjugate…

Control…

Conquer

and to seduce Mia…

We will also meet Cameron, Richard’s friend who also finds himself enticed by Mia’s

haunting innocence..
