4 STARS "Other people's choices are not my fault. It's how I react to those choices that matters." This was really interesting , the first chapters intrigued me.This book follows Thorrn, he is part of the royal guard . Everyone is destined to meet their soul companion, and when he meets his, he is not happy with who she is!She is an Earthian who can travel between the two realms. How fascinated right? I enjoyed the magic system and the world building.It was very well written, and I enjoyed the characters.It was a little bit slow in some parts and confusing , but it has a lot of action and it's unique to keep your interest.Thorrn was inetresting even though in the beginning I didn't like how he treated Evyn I loved him later so much.Evyn was such a lovely character.There are also funny moments and especially the fact that Thorrn struggling with modern gadgets. "When something is broken, it can be reforged into something new. If you add new materials, it becomes stronger."
