Four Score (Gypsy Brothers, #4)

4 stars
It's fragile, this peace of ours, but while it lasts? It's fucking perfect.

Four Score is the calm before the storm, a false sense of peace in limbo; sitting, waiting for everything to blow up in her face. Unsure of what Jase thinks of her she expects the worse but is taken back at how eerily quiet Jase is. She deserves his hate, his anger, but never did she think that after all these years there was a small chance, but how could it ever be, her actions and choices make it impossible for any kind of future with him.

Jase feels like he woke up from a really fucked up dream, it can' be her, he mourned her death so long ago, and now here she is standing right in front of him, but this time he isn't willing to sit by and just let her go. No matter how long it has been it always has been her for him and him for her. Sometimes no matter how much you love someone you can't let go of the need for vengeance but for now in their little bubble, they can pretend and just be, fuck the consequences, there is more time to think about it later.
It's like all my dreams and all of my nightmares have been realized in one messy, beautiful moment. I'm elated. I'm devastated. But mostly, I'm afraid.

Holy Shit, does not even sum up this book, the ending, DAMN! Even I have to say I was caught up in the limbo to the point it just threw me for a loop in the end. This book has so many possibilities and so far no matter the direction the author has taken it, I am not disappointed, it keeps getting better and better. I'm stuck here wondering, what happens next, where do they go from her, is she ever gonna find peace or will she die trying ?!? Another awesome addition to the series and I can't wait for the next one!
