SYNOPSIS
I’d do anything to keep my mother alive.
Anything, including ask Ian Kerr for help. I don’t know much about him, except that he has more money than some small countries. And he’s willing to spend it on me. Just one catch: there’s a string attached, and not just the one I feel pulling me into his arms and his bed. There’s also the plan for revenge he wants my help with.
Every time he says my name, it makes my body shiver and my heart stutter. I know he’s going to wreck me, know there won’t be anything left of me but lust and sensation by the time he’s done with me, but even though I can see the heartbreak coming towards me like a train, ready to crash into me, I can’t get out of the way. I want what he makes me feel. Want what he’s offering.
This may have started out as something to save my mother, but now…now it’s about what he makes me feel. I’m in danger of losing everything that’s important. Worse? Ian's whispered words and hot caresses are making me believe that's okay.
CHRISTINE'S REVIEW
4.5 TINY BUNNY STARS
Rich billionaires and damsels in distress are a dime a dozen and I find myself tired of it all. But then along came this book. I felt really connected to the characters, which made the story more realistic and in my opinion very enjoyable.
We have Victoria (Tiny) Corielli, she looks after her sick mother on her measly salary. She's a bike courier and she's very good at what she does, but it's also the only job she feels she's capable of because of her dyslexia. Unfortunately her mothers health takes a turn for the worse, meaning she needs more money which pushes her to resort to a less legal job so that she can finance her treatment.
This is when she meets, Ian. A savvy business man, who seems unable to take his eyes off her. He propositions her, she refuses and the chase begins!
"Let me be perfectly frank with you, Victoria. There are lots of things that I'd like you to do for me. Some of them involve you on your knees. Others require you bent over a table. All of them require me between your legs."
Ian, is hot, demanding and oh so adorable! He also has a bit of potty mouth and has a great sense of humour! I feel like I'm promoting a product over here, but it's all true! He's character was like a blend of the boy next door and a possessive neanderthal!
He's drawn to Tiny right from the beginning but not in an insta-love sort of way. He was possibly one of the most caring and sensitive alpha's I have ever read! I always worry that one character trait will over power the other but, Ian was perfect!
Losing Control, was a highly enjoyable read. I love sexual tension, probably more that the actual sex in a book and this book had sexual tension in spades! The sex scenes were hot, Tiny and Ian's relationship progressed awesomely. Tiny, was an awesome heroine! She's quirky, sensitive but she's also loyal, she'd do anything for the people she loves! So what I'm getting at is that I really enjoyed this story!
"I'm just afraid that I can't give you enough anymore." He presses a soft kiss against my temple. "I'll take anything from you as long as it's something."
I was fortunate enough to have signed up to receive this book in sections via email. I absolutely loved Tiny & Ian as well as the supporting characters: Sophia, Steve and even Malcolm. The dynamic between Tiny & Ian was just so tangible, you could feel the electricity between them. Two broken souls finding each other always draws me in completely. I just adored how Ian accepted Tiny's dyslexia as a non-deal breaker, how he didn't want her working for Malcolm.....I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE REST OF THIS SERIES!
