Debbie Mason Recommends Five Summer Reads
This summer, I’ll most likely be turning the pages of my favorite reads in a car and on a plane. We have week-long 100th anniversary celebrations to attend in our hometown, a family wedding, a working vacation in Colorado, and then some cottage time at Black Bay with our very large, extended family. When we’re at Black Bay, I’m hoping to sneak off with a book to my aunt and uncle’s hammock or hide away in one of the back bedrooms for a while. Here are some of the books that I’ll be taking with me on my travels.
Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn: I love a good psychological suspense, and from the blurb, this one sounds great—a little like my favorite Hitchcock movie, Rear Window, starring Grace Kelly and James Stewart.
Lovers at Seaside by Addison Cole: For an emotional and entertaining read, I can always depend on Addison to deliver.
The Perfect Couple by Elin Hilderbrand: It wouldn’t be summer without a visit to Nantucket with the queen of the beach read. (June 19)
Rainy Day Friends by Jill Shalvis: I know with Jill I’m guaranteed a funny, romantic read. (June 19)
The Cottages on Silver Beach by RaeAnne Thayne: Haven Point is one of my favorite places to visit for a heart-warming, feel-good read. (June 19)
