★★★★ 4 'Rock Bottom' stars!

Whew, this book was devastatingly tragic, especially the last 30% of the story and it left me feeling a little like this...

First of all, Tristan:

I understood his conflicted and tortured feelings but the way he handled them was all wrong. That's all I'm going to say about that. I still liked him most of the time though and well, his possessive streak makes him:

And then there's Danika...

BUT a lot of trouble could have been avoided if T & D would have just communicated a bit more instead of keeping so many secrets.

To Twatalie and Dean:

Special credit to Frankie who was a great friend to both Tristan and Danika!

Except for those few random scenes told in her POV, she was a fun character and a great addition to the story.

Despite all the angst, or maybe even because of it, this was still a highly enjoyable, captivating read and if you haven't read this series yet, do yourself a favor and give it a try! Now I'm off to the final chapter of this story!
